The main connect in this picture is a book, titled 'Freakonomics'.

The man in the first picture is Chad Troutwin, an American independent film producer, and co-founder and CEO of Veritas Prep (a graduate school admissions consulting company). Chad Troutwine won the bidding war to convert Freakonomics into a feature length documentary, subsequently released in 2010.

Freakonomics (2005) was co-authored by Steven D. Levitt (a University of Chicago economist) and Stephen J. Dubner. The latter also wrote a blog in order to continue interaction online for the book released. The blog was incorporated into The New York Times' website and the authors wrote joint-columns for The New York Times Magazine. The Freakonomics blog however ended its association with New York Times in March 2011.

The fourth picture is that of Ku Klux Clan, which originated in USA, and on which the second chapter in the book Freakonomics is based. It is titled "How is the Ku Klux Klan like a group of real-estate agents?"

The last picture shows two sumo wrestlers. The first chapter in the afore mentioned book deals with cheating, as applied to teachers and sumo wrestlers.
